2.1a1pre is not officially supported by anything, if you're using that, be prepared that it just might stop working at any time, we will only actively look into those versions once we have 2.0 out the door.
For now, please test with SeaMonkey 2.0 Beta 2 or 2.0pre, and Lightning nightlies starting from today should work with that.

Reg: 2.1a1pre
Hi Kairo,

Does lightning work as good as with thunderbird with seamonkey 2 and 2.0 Pre? Right now I am facing couple of problems like unable to add a calender invite as an event. I would switch to 2 Beta or 2.0 Pre if basic functionalities work properly.

We have a few known problems in 2.0b2 and 2.0pre but we are working on them. The highest-profile problems so far are the invitation feature not working and preferences not being available. We are working on both of those right now and should be able to solve them for 2.0 final.

Lightning 1.0 pre im Seamonkey 2.0
Hallo,
