A candidate build of Firefox 4 beta 1 is now available:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/4.0b1-candidates/build1/

I do find it strange for "tabs on top" in Firefox 4.

And the gecko version number for FF 4.0b1 is rv:2.0b1, not rv:1.9.3b1 as I've checked myself.

So, KaiRo, will Seamonkey 2.1 still keep the gecko 1.9.3.x version number or switch to gecko 2.0.x version number?

that's good. I see the same for the Thunderbird 3.2a1pre nightly trunk builds as well; also 2.0b2pre.

Mockup
To my opinion it is very important that there are made tasty mockups for the new intgrated look of Seamonkey. And that these mockups are brought well under the attention of the people who visit the Seamonkey site.
This will motivate (new) people to help thinking. And this will draw people to Seamonkey, because people like to watch movement.

My comment about TOT
I think that it isn't *necessary*, in any manner, for the tab bar to be on top. Think about Mac OS X: on that system, the menus are on a separate panel on the *desktop*, and it works perfectly. Maybe we can't make it that way, but any system doesn't impose any requirements on why the tab bar should be on top, because it works perfectly even if the menus were above the tab bar.
