Update from SM 2.0 to SM 2.2?
hmm, pushing major updates from SM 2.0 to SM 2.2, Kairo? i guess there won't be an SM 2.0.15 release then.

So no SeaMonkey 2.1.x?
I'm still using 2.0.14 and upgraded from 1.1.x to 2 as of 2.0.1 since I figure the first point release will always have something indispensable that was found out by people who waited for after the betas.

So there will be no 2.1.x before 2.2?

Themes:
I spent a number of additional hours working, and finally, could update my personal theme page to have the new 2.1 versions of the EarlyBlue and LCARStrek themes announced! Reviews on addons.mozilla.org are still pending, but I did upload them there as well - both work with SeaMonkey 2.1 and probably well enough with the newer versions as well, and in addition, LCARStrek now supports Firefox 4 (and probably newer ones) as well!

Thanks for a new updated version of LCARStrek ;)

As far as I know, there are no plans for it. the Mozilla platform we have been using for 2.0.x doesn't get any security updates any more, so it wouldn't be easy, and it's better to get people to the new versions in the end.

No, there will only be this one 2.1 and the update to it is 2.2, then.

Seamonkey Copying Suicide Strategy?
See http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/230868/firefox_strategy_is_a_recipe_for_failure.html

Is SeaMonkey going down the same path?...that would be a terrible mistake.

SeaMonkey is pulling along with that (actually, doesn't even have a different choice, given that the project simply cannot maintain the Mozilla platform for security issues) - and it's terribly right and good to do that. (And I'm not leading where SeaMonkey is going any more anyhow, I'm working mostly on Firefox stability these days.)

aww, if that were so, then why is SM 2.0.15 mentioned on the Seamonkey Bug Radars page on the Seamonkey development site:
http://dev.seamonkey.at/?d=x&i=mozilla&m=r

So if there are no plans whatsoever for SM 2.0.15, then any info on that specific version should be removed from the Seamonkey Bug Radars page ASAP.

Because we always open radars for any potential upcoming version, even if we then decide not to do that version after all.

Still, it has already been removed from there - I just needed to rework a few things for the new stuff we're using with 2.2 and on...
